Life is Good...

Last night, my five year sang my newborn to sleep...

Life is Good...

Memories of May 26th, 2001... ah to remember

Yellow

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And everything you do,
Yeah, they were all yellow.

I came along,
I wrote a song for you,
And all the things you do,
And it was called "Yellow."

So then I took my turn,
Oh what a thing to have done,
And it was all "Yellow."

Your skin
Oh yeah, your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
You know, you know I love you so,
You know I love you so.

I swam across,
I jumped across for you,
Oh what a thing to do.

Cos you were all "Yellow,"
I drew a line,
I drew a line for you,
Oh what a thing to do,
And it was all "Yellow."

Your skin,
Oh yeah your skin and bones,
Turn into something beautiful,
And you know for you,
I'd bleed myself dry for you,
I'd bleed myself dry.

It's true, look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine for you,
Look how they shine.

Look at the stars,
Look how they shine for you,
And all the things that you do.

Tripping the Rift?

Yesterday I had an MRI... an open MRI, but an MRI, nonetheless... I kid you not, half way through, I began hallucinating... The noise that the machine makes is almost tribal... Then, everything started rotating and spinning... Quite surreal... Felt like I was at a concert I could not leave... Nor did I truly want to...

When you can feel that way, without taking anything, then you have found enlightenment ::grin::... Sober rules...

I have felt fairly crappy... This bronchitis has settled deeper than I realized... But, our little ones are thriving and growing... I just received a full face smile from little Z... Whilst Aud is sleeping the summer morning blissfully away...

I need to write... It's begging to form, to evolve and come out... I have a lot racing through my head... But mainly... It's you...

η αγάπη μου για σας είναι απεριόριστη

involuntary, i don't think so...

she just full on laughed...

seriously... not a little grin... not an involuntary reflex... a belly laugh... no joke...

and it begins... ::grin::

and then there were four...

she was born June 30th, by c-section, at 11:10 in the morning... as my brother pointed out, one minute from making a wish... little Zoey Viola Grace emerged from the womb, unnaturally, and promptly grabbed onto the blue sheet shielding my eyes from my sliced open belly... moments earlier, i literally could feel her trying to crawl up the front of me, away from the doctor... laughter erupted from our stunned surgical team, as my Love kept his forehead blissfully close to mine...

and there were four (five for my dear beloved... four for me)...

and we are home, now, 2 and a half weeks later... c-sections are more of a big deal, in my opinion, than a natural delivery... unless of course you are not breastfeeding, or declining pain killer... which i did both... then, maybe, they are easier... 3 days of hard labor contractions brought on by continual nursing hurts like hell... but gods it's worth it...

(rob and audrey are singing "my favorite things" in the back bedroom at the top of their lungs... i love my family)

interestingly enough, i have fallen ill with bronchitis... kind of figures... and the sciatica has not left my bones... but our daughter is so sweet and good and beautiful... i must have done something good... yes indeed... two gorgeous daughters and a husband any woman would be fortunate to have... my Love has been here by my side... helping me through this time, even in his own hour of pain... my momma came out and did exactly what she said she would do... and i am so grateful... our best friends' poor baby fell ill with walking pneumonia last week and was in the hospital... we miss them... but our time will come... my daddy came out today, and we had a lovely lunch with him and my step-mother... and life is good... next week, off to mom and dad's... the two best in-laws on the face of the planet... and eventually, i should be homeschooling with rob's niece... and this house we are in... our home... oh how beautiful you are...

and soon i shall pick up my pen again... and write... and dream... and make it happen... and maybe my friend will move here from down below... and we shall raise kids together...

oh... how lucky i am...

i will miss the Man this year (and a few old friends... even though things happen the way they are supposed to, i still miss some things from before...)... but oh how lucky i am...
